CHUTNEY LASSI

CHUTNEY LASSI

I came across this recipe for an interesting and refreshing drink "Chutney Lassi" in the website of Master Chef Sanjeev Kapoor. I was intrigued by the name and the ingredients and made it as soon as I could.

Believe me, it was great! This is a refreshing option for a hot summer's day.

Ingredients:
  • Yogurt, 2 and 1/2 cups
  • Fresh Mint Leaves, chopped, 12-15
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves, 1/4 bunch
  • Ginger, chopped, 1/2 " piece
  • Green Chilly, chopped, 1
  • Small Raw Mango, de-seeded and sliced, 1/2
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black Salt, to taste
  • Roasted Cumin Powder, 1 tsp
  • Ice Cubes, as required
Method:
In a mixer, grind the mint leaves, coriander leaves, ginger, green chilly, raw mango, salt, black salt,  and roasted cumin powder to a fine paste, adding a little water or yogurt water
To this paste, add the yogurt, 1 cup of water and a few ice cubes
Blend this again and then place in the refrigerator
Serve chilled in tall glasses
