BATATE HIGH JUMP
The first thing that caught my attention was the name of this recipe from my friend, the cookery expert, Asha Satish Philar. She has contributed a recipe in the past for Seasoned Rice elsewhere in this blog.
"Batate" of course refers to "Potato" in Konkani but "High Jump" suggests a cute name for something that will make you jump, with joy because it is so delicious!
Ingredients & Method:
With the flame on low, combine the potatoes with the ground paste with a little water
Season with either mustard seeds and karbev leaves OR with garlic
Stir over a low flame until the potatoes become brownish and dry.
